Tyler Ray Rubsam

Tyler Ray Rubsam, 22, of Olney, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024 at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

Tyler was born May 13, 2002 in Vincennes, Indiana, the son of Bradley Ray and Wendy (Holley) Rubsam.

Tyler was a Richland County High School graduate, Class of 2020. He grew up in Olney. He was very personable and loved his family and pets. Tyler was a Chicago Bears fan and he loved to watch them play. He and his dad shared special things with each other, including a chipmunk relocation program and saving many turtles from the road, and once, chasing his grandma around with a snake that him and his dad had found. Brad and Tyler are surely together, finding trouble to get into and eating cookies and cream ice cream wherever they are now. Tyler will be dearly missed.

Tyler is survived by his mother, Wendy Rubsam of Olney; maternal grandmother, Carol Bailey; maternal grandparents, Charles (Beckye) Holley; aunts, Carrie Holley, Gail Rubsam, and Sharon Rubsam; uncle, Tony (Marsha) Rubsam; and other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bradley Rubsam; maternal grandfather, John Bailey; paternal grandparents, Walter and Doris Rubsam; aunt, Jill Rubsam.

A funeral service will be held for Tyler at 5:00 PM on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney, with a visitation for friends and family beginning two hours before service time at the funeral home.
