Tamala "Tammy" Susanne Pence

Tamala "Tammy" S. Pence, 63, of Olney, IL, passed away June 15, 2025 at Willow Breeze Hospice House in Mattoon, IL.

Tamala "Tammy" was born July 7, 1961 in Savanna, IL to parents, Levern Westpfahl and Nancy (Rice) Westpfahl. She married Edward Pence on January 19, 1980, he survives.

Tammy loved to help people and was a very sociable person. She loved to make people’s day with a smile upon her face and a twinkle in her eye.

Tammy is survived by her husband of 45 years, Edward Pence of Olney; son, Devin Pence of Olney; son, Steven Pence and fiancée Ali Salas; grandchildren, Anna Salas and Stella Pence; siblings, Cindy Shelley, Jodie Weed, and Jamie Westpfahl; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lonnie Westpfahl.

Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney has been entrusted with arrangements.

Celebration of Life and time for gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home, Olney.
