Steven E. Taylor

Steven E. Taylor, 60, of Evansville, Indiana, formerly of Noble, Illinois, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024 in Evansville.

Steven was born November 4, 1963 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, the son of Gene Taylor and Carol Taylor-Strong.

Steve worked for Fisher Dynamics in Evansville, Indiana. Steve enjoyed cooking on his outside grill often, and he was a very good cook. He liked watching all the old comedy shows on T.V. and playing card games and board games. Steve also liked to hunt and fish.

Steve is survived by his mother, Carol (Reichow) Strong of Olney, IL and his father, Gene Taylor of Parkersburg, IL; brother, Keith (Patricia) of San Antonio, TX; stepbrother, Jeff (Patty) Strong of Carlyle, IL; stepsister, Kim Holland of Raleigh, NC and her husband Jon Holland of Effingham, IL; stepsisters, Donna and Tracy of Olney, IL, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bob Strong.

A memorial service will be held for Steven at 2:00 PM on Friday, Oct 25th, 2024 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home, Olney, with a visitation beginning one hour before service time at the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service at Maple Dale Cemetery in Olney.
