Sheri R. Fitzgerald

Sheri R. Fitzgerald, 56, of Olney, IL, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Sheri was born August 28, 1968 in Fairfield, IL, the daughter of Charles Fitzgerald and Mary (Linder) Fitzgerald.

Sheri was a sister, a mother, a grandmother, and an aunt. She never knew a stranger. She loved her sisters and her brothers, her children, and her grandchildren very much. She loved to dance and cook for her family. If you were in need, she would give it to you. Sheri loved her dog, Puma, very much. She would not let you make a fuss over her. She was very humble, and you were never to go hungry around Sheri. She will be truly missed by her family and friends. Rest in Peace Little Sister.

She leaves behind 6 sisters and 2 brothers; 4 children and grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, a fiancée, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles W. Fitzgerald and Mary Fitzgerald.

Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney has been entrusted with arrangements.

Funeral Services will be held for Sheri at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home, Olney, with a visitation beginning one hour before service time at the funeral home.

Cremation Rites will be accorded after services, and interment will take place and Haven Hill Memorial Gardens in Olney at a later date.
