Ruby Irene (Scott) Akins

Ruby Irene Scott Akinswas born on September 18, 1919 in Noble, the daughter of James E. & Millie M. (Bretton) Scott of Kansas. She married Robert E. Akins and he preceded her in death in September of 1986. She had worked at the Olney Garment Factory and was a cook at the Noble Grade School. She was a member of the Noble Christian Church She is survived by her Daughter-in-law, Sarah (Campbell) Akins of Lenoir, NC, Grandchildren, Scott Akins & wife Ashley of Hudson, NC, Todd Akins & wife Jill of Charlotte, NC, Cheryl Watts & husband Brian of Lenoir, NC, Cynthia Akins of Lenoir, NC, 7 Great grandchildren, Savannah Akins, Stella Akins, Liam Akins, Ross Watts, Raegan Watts, Logan Arnold & Leslie Arnold and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Jerry Wayne Akins, an infant son, Robert Eugene Akins, Jr., 2 brothers and 1 sister.
