Raymond James "Jed" Clampet

Raymond James “Jed” Clampet, 61, of Lawrenceville, IL, passed away unexpectedly due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident Saturday, December 14th, 2024.

Jed was born January 16, 1961 in Hinsdale, IL, the son of Raymond Junior and Rosalie Gladice Clampet.

He was a United States Army Veteran. He married Christina (Youngman) Clampet on January 31, 1987. Together they had five children – Marci (Josh) Brown of Robinson, IL, Paige (Brian) Sanders of St. Francisville, IL, Raymond Lee Clampet, Vincennes, IN, Quinton (Courtney) Clampet, Patoka, IN and Brady Clampet, Robinson, IL. Six grandchildren he was so very proud of, Treyton, Graysen and Maryn Brown Robinson, IL, Dakota and Haven Sanders St. Francisville and Chevelle Clampet Patoka, IN.

He is also survived by two siblings Linda (Gary) Lipe, Woodridge, IL, Leslie (Olan) Thompson, Du Quoin, IL. Several nieces and nephews. As well as many friends, whom he cherished dearly.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his brother-in-Law Gary Lipe, and a nephew, Heath Thompson.

The Celebration of Life will be Sunday, January 5, 2025 at the Cannonball Bar and Grill in Saint Francisville, IL, 62460, from 1-4 pm. Donations will be taken to help cover the cost of expenses.
