Ray Carr

Ray "Cowboy" Carr was born on August 31, 1932 in Shepard, Texas, the son of Oliver and Equilla (Cassleberry) Carr. He married Myrtle Pierce on July 26, 2003. Ray was a U.S. Army Veteran and had worked in construction. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Carr of West Salem, IL; Daughter, Cindy Owens and husband William of West Salem; Stepson, Shawn Francis and wife Ginnie of West Salem; Sister, Juanita Adams and husband Lawrence of Houston, TX; Six grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Ray Carr, three sisters and four brothers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
