Muriel B. Reynolds

Muriel B. Reynolds, 87, of Calhoun, passed away June 15, 2024 at her home.

Muriel was born September 22, 1936 in Cloquet, Minnesota, the daughter of Melvin and Madeline (Wait) Martindale She married Jim G. Reynolds on March 23, 1967 in Rock Island, Illinois, and he preceded her in death on January 25, 2013.

Muriel was a loving and dependable mother. She enjoyed the simple things in life, sitting on the porch, watching the hummingbirds outside, bowling, and many other things. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spoiling them. Muriel will be dearly missed.

Muriel is survived by her daughter Lisa (Michael Woodman) Reynolds; grandchildren, James Collins III, Adrian Collins, Charles Reynolds, and Katie Reynolds; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Melvyn (Nancy) Martindale, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and several siblings.

Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney is assisting the family with arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be held for Muriel at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the Olney VFW.
