Mildred Christina Volk

Mildred Christina "Millie" Volk was born July 31, 1922 to Martin and Helena (Zuber) Hahn in Richland County, Illinois. On November 27, 1946 she married Cornelius Volk and he preceded her in death November 25, 2007. Millie was active in St. Joseph Ladies Guild and enjoyed gardening, cooking and playing card games and Bingo with family and friends. Millie is survived by her sons, Michael Volk and wife, Jody Lerner of Oakland, CA and Stephen Volk of Laguna Niguel, CA. Her daughters are Barbara Potter and Husband Horace of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas and Sharron Corbin and husband, Richard of Sherman, IL. Her brothers are James and Carl Hahn both of Decatur, IL. Grandchildren are Brian and Eric Potter; Todd and Chad Corbin; Melissa, Monica and Sarah Volk. Great Grandchildren, Nicholas, Sidney, Ethan and Savannah Corbin; Luke Potter; Gavin and Hannah Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius, parents, Martin and Helena Hahn, great grandson, Jack Potter, five brothers and three sisters.
