Lester H. Wolf

Lester H. Wolf, 75, of Olney, IL passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025 at his home.

Lester was born November 23, 1949 in Shoals, IN, the son of Henry and Edna (Ragsdale) Wolf.

Lester was a simple man. He loved his family very much, especially his many grandkids and dogs. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Lester is survived by his ex-wife, Esta Wolf of Olney; children, Crystal Orchard, Neldarahy Zingg of Olney, Erma (Leonard) Cohea of Olney, Clifford (Laura) Cochran of Olney, James (Sandy) Cochran of Olney, Kenny Jones of Colorado, Shawn (Lorraine) Jones, and Gwen Cochran of Lincoln, IL; stepson, Kenneth (Jennifer) Gibbs of Willow Hill, IL; grandchildren, Christian Orchard, Aidan Orchard, David Lopez, George "Pooter" Schamel, Bob (Lynetta) Hasten, Farrah (Tim) Morphis, Keith Cochran, Dylan Cochran, Jeffrey (Michelle) Atwood, and Dustin Barthelemy; step-grandchildren, Tyler Gibbs, Kylie Gibbs, Nikota "Boomer" Gibbs, Cassandra “Skallywag” Taylor; great grandkids, Izabella, Derek, Miranda, Persephone, Trey (Alexa), Trisha, Angel, Troy, Delaney, TJ, Braden, Carter, Josephine, Katie and Kelsi (Owen); great-great grandkids, Grayson, Chesney, Atlas and Bella; special friend, Pam Hosick of Olney; former daughter-in-law, Alice Cochran of Olney.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robbie Jones; stepson, Michael Gibbs; brother, Lee.

A memorial service will be held for Lester at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney.

Interment will take place at 2:00 PM CST on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Spring Hill Cemetery in Shoals, IN, with Full Military Rites performed at the graveside.
