Karen F. Lomas

Karen F. Lomas, 73, of Newton, Illinois, formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Newton Care Center.

Karen was born on October 18, 1951, in Olney, Illinois the daughter of Robert Lomas and Eliza Mae Lomas. She married Richard Kaschalk, and he preceded her in death on November 7, 1984.

Karen was adventurous and when she was younger, she enjoyed scuba diving and sky diving. She liked to travel to see family and friends. Karen was outgoing and never knew a stranger.

Karen is survived by her sister, Bobbi (Jim) Tredway of Noblesville, IN; brother, Kelly Lomas of Olney; five nieces and one nephew and several great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and great nephew, Lucas Heckler.
