Joseph Roosevelt

Joe Roosevelt was born on May 9, 1929 in Albion, IL, the son of Gilbert "Gib" & Edith (Smith) Roosevelt. He married Betty Ann Shaw on July 22, 1950 and she preceded him in death on August 15,2004. Joe came to Clay City in 1964 for an oil field job and later worked for AMF, then M & M Pump & Supply where he retired in 1994. He is survived by his son, Randal L. Roosevelt of Clay City, daughter-in-law, Donna (Shidler) Roosevelt, grandson, Shane Roosevelt of Clay City,brother, Marvin Roosevelt of Albion, sister, Mildred (Roosevelt) Barber of San Diego, CA and mother-in-Law and step-father-in-law, Amy & Warren Tait of Grayville, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
