Janice A. Harmon, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at the age of 61 at her home in Noble, Illinois.
She was born on January 22, 1963 in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Carl and Erma (Jackson) Fulk.
Janice had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies including sewing, making dream catchers, and anything outdoors. She loved fishing, rock hunting, and getting her bare toes in the mud. Playing with her grandchildren brought her immense joy. Janice was an exceptional cook and relished home-cooked meals.
Janice was a lover of classic rock and country music. Her favorited song was “Knocking on Heaven’s Door.” She enjoyed being the life of the party and cherished the company of friends and family.
Janice’s favorite place in the world was her home, where she created countless memories with her loved ones. She was married to her beloved husband, Jim Harmon and together they shared a beautiful journey.
Janice leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, Ashley Collins of Kentucky, Dustin Turner of Noble, IL, Cody Turner of Clay City, IL, Kyle Turner, and Brittany Harmon.
She adored her grandchildren, Vanessa, Zach, Zepplyn, Karsyn, Steel, Kylee and her four great-grandchildren, who brough her immense joy.
Janice is also survived by her husband Jim, brothers Ronnie Fulk and Jeff Fulk, her sister, Lori Kater, sister-in-law, Dena Fulk, and daughter-in-law, Denine Rinehart.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Carl and Roy Fulk.
A graveside service for Janice will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Hanna Cemetery in Noble, Illinois.
