Henrietta Pearce

Henrietta Pearce was born on March 4, 1930 in Clay County, Illinois, the daugther of Mason and Edna (Rusk) Harbin. She married Winiford Matthews on February 2, 1947. He preceded her in death on April 17, 2005. She was of the Baptist faith and had worked as a secretary. Henrietta is survived by one son, Steve Matthews of Fairfax, VA; three sisters, Catherine Cockerel, Mary Rosborough and Martha Pearce, all of Clay City, IL and two grandchildren, Jessie and Byron Matthews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mason and Edna (Rusk) Harbin, husband, Winiford Matthews, daughter, Jana Matthews, sons, Mark and Brent Matthews, sister, Betty Garber and brothers, John and Ray Harbin. Cremation rites were accorded, there will be no services.
