George Frederick Shock, 64, of Flora, formerly of Noble passed away September 26, 2024 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Evansville, IN.
George Frederick Shock was born January 14, 1960 in Flora, IL to Lester Shock and Patsy (Burroughs).
George loved his dogs. They were his boys. He also loved fishing. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. They were his team in good and bad. He also had a huge love for country music and went to Nashville, TN with his daughter for Fan-Fare. Family was very important to him, although he didn't show it much. He had also developed a knack for sewing.
George Frederick Shock is survived by his wife, Monica Shock; daughter, Hayli Anderson grandchildren, Brock and Derek Anderson; siblings, Ruth Griffin, Anita (Ric) Allen, Nancy McKenna, Dixie (David) Harding, Charles (Kimberly) Shock, April Shock, Paul (Kailie) Shock, Michael (Jennie Yingst) Shock, James (Jennifer) Shock, Jason (Kristen) Shock, and David (Bobbi) Shock, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents; and brothers, Lester and Donald "Donny" Shock.
Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney is in charge of arrangements. A funeral will be held at 2:00 PM on September 30, 2024 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney. A visitation will be held two hours before service time at the funeral home, from 12:00-2:00 PM.
Interment will take place on September 30, 2024 at Greenhill Cemetery.
Full Military Rites will be performed at the Graveside
