Everett L. Thompson

Everett Lee Thompson was born on March 18, 1939 in Jasper County, Illinois, the son of Thomas Arthur Thompson and Mildred Ethel (Buchanan). He married Shirley Ann Lashbrook on July 11, 1976 at West Liberty Methodist Church. She preceded him in death on September 6, 1990. Everett was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of Silver Street Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed fishing and attending church. He always encouraged others with cards and letters. He will be missed by his family and friends. Everett is survived by his son, Everett L. Thompson Jr. of Noble; son, Travis Thompson of Olney; daughter, Lisa Marie Robinson of Olney; daughter, Debbie Jones and husband Gary of Olney; stepsons, Louis Kilgore and Brian Kilgore; stepdaughters, Beverly Cantrell and Sherry Deisher, sisters, Ruth Kimmel and Dee Donnan, both of Shelbyville, IL; sister-in-law, Nancy Thompson of Olney; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers, Charles Thompson and Thomas W. Thompson, and brother-in-law, Eddie Donnan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Silver Street Pentecostal Church.
