Dustin Kenneth Jake Earnst

Dustin Kenneth Jake Earnst, 42, of Bridgeport, IL, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles, MO.

Dustin was born June 22, 1982 in Lawrenceville, IL, the son of Leroy Earnst and Cheri (Griesemer) Taylor.

He went to Cisne High School and worked at McDonald’s in Vincennes, IN. He also worked for Pioneer Oil Co. in the field.

Dustin is survived by his children, Lexi Laine Earnst, Ariana Elizabeth Earnst, Levi Allen Jake Earnst, Allysa Jo Ann Earnst, and Raylan Earnst; father, Leroy Earnst Jr. of Bridgeport and stepfather Terry Taylor of Flora; sister, Mandi Pokojski of Bridgeport.

He was preceded in death by both paternal and maternal grandparents, Omer and Gayl Griesemer and Leroy Sr. and Marjie Earnst; mother, Cheri Taylor; uncle, Donnie Griesemer; sister, Nikita Turner; brother, Jesse Earnst and great niece, Serenity Woolard.

Cremation Rites will be accorded, and a private family service will be held at a later date.

Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney has been entrusted with arrangements.
