Donovan Joy Newton

Donovan Joy Newton was born on July 30, 1925 in Richland County, IL to Charles & Anna Mae (Silvia) Newton. He married Mina Lois Moseley on July 27, 1946 in Richland County He was a retired farmer and member of the Antioch Christian Church. He had also been a road commissioner for Decker Township and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Mina Newton of Olney, IL, son, Donald Wayne Newton & wife Mary Jane of Noble, daughter, Karen Lee Totten & husband Bob of Noble, daughter, Sherry Lyn Wilson & husband Leon of Olney, son, Kevin Joy Newton of Noble,son, Kenneth Ray Newton of Noble, son, Charles Clinton Newton & wife Nancy of Olney, brother, Paul Newton of Texas, 20 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Vivian & Ruby and brother, Raymond.
