Dixie Ann Weaver, 88, of Vincennes, Indiana, formerly of Olney, Illinois, passed away January 8, 2025 in Bridge Pointe Health Campus, Vincennes, Indiana.
Dixie was born June 19, 1936 in Noble, IL to parents, Perry Fulk and Anna Pauline (Foerster) Fulk. She married Garry Lee Weaver on June 19, 1954 in Olney, IL. Garry preceded her in death on March 27, 2011.
Survived by daughter, Dallas Dean and husband Todd of Olney, son, Garry Weaver and wife, Kouch of Leander, TX, and daughter, Nancy Turner and husband Chuck of Owensboro, KY; grandchildren, Sarah (Matt) Murray, Derek (Kristy) Weaver, Whitney (Jonah) Wolff, Zach (Britni) Jenkins, Katie (Brian) Vowels, Jacob Jenkins; 13 great grandchildren; brother, Perry "Bebe" Fulk, Jr. of Noble and Terry Joe Fulk of Golconda, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by husband, Garry Weaver and parents.
Dixie worked as a secretary for Fulk Oil for several years. She enjoyed horse riding, camping, swimming, and being outdoors. She took pleasure in traveling to Texas during the winter with her husband, Garry.
In the last few years, Dixie has enjoyed being with her friends at BridgePointe Health Care facility. They were so good to her.
Dixie especially loved spending time with her family, friends, and grandkids.
Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney has been entrusted with arrangements.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home, Olney.
Funeral Services will be held on at Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home, Olney.
Interment will take place on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Haven Hill Memorial Gardens.
Memorials can be made to Humane Society of Richland County or Good Samaritan.
