Dale E. Holder

Dale E. Holder, 71, of Olney, IL, passed away November 14, 2024 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

Dale was born February 12, 1953 in Flora, Illinois, the son of Donald and Delores "Dee" (Hamilton) Holder.

Dale was a wonderful and caring father, grandfather, a great partner, and a good friend. He loved playing darts and pool. Dale loved his job as a computer programmer for CNC fabrication. He will be forever missed by his family and friends.

Dale is survived by significant other, Cindy Melton of Olney; son, William Dale Holder and wife, Vickie of Olney; son, Riley Holder and wife, Kimberly of Creal Springs, IL; daughter, Amy Meeks and husband, T.R. of Flora, IL; Daughter, Kim Melton and boyfriend, Jon Yates of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Kelsey Holder, Chip (Emily) Holder, Billy (Cheyenne) Holder, Dalton Holder, Dakota Holder, Tyler Holder, Makayla Holder, Ethan Holder, Adalynn Meeks, great grandchildren, Lillian Holder, Jaxon Holder, Sophia Robertson, Delilah Robertson, Kaden Robertson, Westley Clevy, Trenton Holder, Lexi Holder, Kaylee Holder, Bryce Holder, Wyatt Holder; brother, Gerald Holder and wife, Janet; sister, Dawnette Miller and husband, Christopher; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held for Dale on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home, Olney.
