Cynthia (Robins) Nation

Cynthia (Robins) Nation, 76, of Mount Vernon, IL, formerly of Olney, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Axiom Gardens of Mt. Vernon.

She was born July 18, 1948 in Olney, IL, the daughter of Edward Robins and Norma Lee (Palmer) Robins.

Cynthia was an avid quilter, and she loved to be out in nature. She was an all around animal lover, but especially loved her cats. She will be dearly missed by those that knew her.

Cynthia is survived by her sons, Edward (Michele) Nation of Mt. Vernon, IL and Lincoln (Rebecca) Nation of Mt. Vernon, IL; grandchildren, Megan Leigh (Travis) Bonnar, Isaac Nation, Meredith Nation, and Margie Nation; great grandchildren, Grace and Travis, Jr.; brothers, Terry Robins and Luke Robins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held for Cynthia at 1:00 PM on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at the Free Methodist Church in Olney.

Cremation Rites will be accorded, and interment will take place at Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney at a later date.

Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney has been entrusted with arrangements.
