Anita Louise Burrow

Anita L. Burrow, 79, of Olney, IL, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Richland Nursing and Rehab in Olney.

Anita was born July 7, 1945 in Olney, IL, the daughter of Robert and Ruth M. (Sager) Bellinger. She married Burt E. Burrow in Globe, AZ, and Burt has preceded her in death.

Anita came into this life loved and adored by very loving parents and on to siblings that created great memories together. She went on to be married and have a child where she was a stay-at-home mom and enjoyed hobbies such as crocheting, ceramics, cooking and baking. She had an amazing gift with animals which eventually led her to her passion for raising small dogs. She loved those close to her dearly and would always help anyone in need and many referred to her not as just a friend but family… She was a mother and grandmother always first and it reflected from all the love she gave to her grandchildren in the great memories they created together. She will be missed by many, yet she waits for us all to be together again someday.

Anita is survived by her son, Robert (RW) and Debbie Burt of Effingham, IL; grandchildren, Hope Burt of Bridgeport, IL and Alan Childs of Midland, TX; great grandson, Oliver Burt-Swindle; sisters, Sharon Foster and Bobbie Eck, both of Olney, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother Robert E. Bellinger, Jr.

A funeral service will be held for Anita at 3:00 PM on Monday, February 3, 2025, with a visitation beginning one hour before service time at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made to the funeral home in her honor in lieu of sending flowers.
