Aldean Emma Ostrander

Aldean Emma Ostrander was born on August 27, 1921 in Haxtun, Colorado, one of eight children of William and Resmina "Minnie" (Knudsen) Schachterle. She married Delos Ostrander on October 27, 1947. He preceded her in death in 1994. Mrs. Ostrander was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Olney where she was active in several organizations. She is survived by her son, Dennis Ostrander of Olney; daughter & son-in-law Carol & Bob Pittman of Fairfield, OH; four grandsons, Joshua (Gloria) Ostrander of Olney, James Ostrander of Olney, Brian Pittman of Dayton, OH and Christopher Pittman of Cincinnati, OH; brother, Robert Schachterle of Orangevale, CA; brother and sister-in-law, Pat & Rosalie Schachterle of Vancouver, WA; sister-in-law, Dorothy Schachterle of Milwaukee, WI and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Donald, Dean (her twin brother) and Laurence, sisters, Mildred and Fern and a daughter-in-law, Shirley Ostrander.
