A. C. Martin

Arthur Clarence "A.C." Martin was born on August 7, 1922 in Lafayette County, Arkansas, the son of Dow Myron and Annalee (Drake) Martin. He married Roberta Reynolds on August 17, 1968 in Las Vegas, Nevada and she preceded him in death on August 5, 1993. A.C. was owner of Olney Livestock Auction and A.C. Martin Trucking. He was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran, member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, the VFW, American Legion and Olney Elks. Surviving are his children: son, Ronnie Martin and wife Rani of Milford, CT; daughter, Connie Rae and husband Randy Smith of Albion, IL; daughter, Karen Noonan of Corona Del Mar, CA; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Kern and husband Clarence of Carmi, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and son-in-law, Richard Noonan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel United Methodist Church, American Heart Association/American Stroke Association or the donor's charity of choice.
